A different interpretation of the “Modern Farmhouse”, this home blends multiple exterior cladding materials and color palette to create a soft and more natural appearance and connection to the earth below and around it. The indoor/outdoor flow and experience was paramount to the homeowners, and the large pocketing doors from the barn-like Great Room to the intimate exterior courtyard created by its orientation make that seamless. The Great Room has 24 foot high ceilings and exterior exposure on 3 sides. Entertaining on the multi-lever rear yard is as natural as the open-planned interior. Natural light to the Basement is provided with a glass bridge over a large light well.
